PAA 2019

Updated: Oct 2, 2023

Next week, I am attending the 2019 Population Association of America (PAA) annual meeting.

I am presenting research with Paul Chung (Ph.D., congratulations!) on enforcement and disabilities:

Later that same day, I am also presenting a poster on language segregation, which debuted on DemoTrends last year. A copy of my poster is below, and come hear what I found at PAA:

  • Friday, April 12 / 2:30 PM - 4:00 PM • Griffin Hall (Level 2)

  • Poster Session 9 Marriage, Family, Households, & Unions; Gender, Race, & Ethnicity

I first attended the PAA annual meetings in 2011 and 2012 while working as a research associate at the Urban Institute. At that point, I found a research home at PAA, where I have been presenting my personal and collaborative research each year since 2013. PAA demographers and researchers have helped improve my work immensely, providing constructive and invaluable feedback. Research presented at PAA has appeared in Policy Studies Journal, International Migration Review (co-authored), and Race and Social Problems (co-authored).
